Nadeem Shakir is Regional Director for Transport across the Middle East and North Africa at Zutari, where he leads the Transport and Mobility Planning department, described as one of the largest and most innovative integrated transport teams in the Middle East. His work covers strategic city-wide transport planning, smart cities advisory, innovative future mobility and driverless transport. He served as Project Director on the Dubai 2040 Transport Strategy and has contributed to the planning of several future airports in the region. Zutari is a multinational buildings and infrastructure engineering and advisory practice with a legacy of more than 90 years, operating from 32 offices across 17 countries in Africa and the Middle East.
