Gihan Hyde

Governance, ESG and Transformation Strategist

Gihan Hyde is a governance, ESG and transformation strategist with more than 25 years of experience across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and the United Kingdom. She has worked closely with finance, human resources, audit and compliance functions at major organisations including Barclays, HSBC, BP and the Riyadh Metro project, helping embed more effective governance and sustainability practices across the employee lifecycle and rebuilding trust through corporate culture development and organisational change management. In her most recent role she served as board adviser to the Safa Foundation, the oldest non-profit institution in the Kingdom dedicated to transparency and integrity, where she contributed to rebuilding the organisation and turning it into the first Saudi non-profit specialising in governance and sustainability with technology-enabled solutions. She lectures at the University of Oxford, speaks for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and at TEDx, and has been named by LinkedIn among the leading voices in ESG. Her focus is on helping organisations convert governance, sustainability and transformation ambitions into tangible and lasting institutional impact.
