Dr Abdulrahman Fahad Shams is Assistant Deputy Minister for Umrah Affairs at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. In media interviews he has discussed the digital services offered to Umrah pilgrims arriving from abroad and their integration with other bodies such as civil aviation and the Ministry of Tourism. The ministry organises and oversees Hajj and Umrah affairs.
