Dr Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat is Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah at the excellent grade. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from King Abdulaziz University, then a master's degree and a PhD in computer science from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. His academic posts included president of the University of Jeddah, vice president for development at King Abdulaziz University, dean of the College of Computing and Information Technology, dean of admission and registration, and director of the information technology centre. He has experience in key performance indicators and academic accreditation.
