Saudi Arabia Smart Grid

Saudi Arabia Smart Grid is a Saudi organisation founded in 2011 and headquartered in Riyadh, dedicated to advancing the smart grid sector in the Kingdom's energy industry. It organises an annual specialised conference held under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, bringing together engineers, researchers and officials from government bodies and companies in the electricity sector to discuss the modernisation of electricity infrastructure and smart grid technologies. The thirteenth edition of the conference was held in Riyadh in December 2025 under the theme 'Innovation Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.' Its annual programme typically covers smart meters and data management, renewable energy grid integration, electric vehicles and storage, cybersecurity in smart grids, energy efficiency, and power system resilience and reliability.
