The Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference 2026 takes place at the Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Centre in Riyadh, from 14 to 16 December. Over three days, the conference brings together energy sector specialists, engineers and decision-makers to discuss the development of smart grids and the modernisation of Saudi Arabia's electricity infrastructure.
The technical programme spans several tracks, including smart meters and data management solutions, fourth industrial revolution technologies, smart grid standards and codes, electric vehicles and energy storage, cybersecurity applications in smart grids, localisation of smart grid services and technologies, artificial intelligence and blockchain studies in the field, renewable energy grid integration, regulatory aspects and energy policy, power system resilience and reliability, successful international practices, and energy efficiency measures. The conference is aimed at energy engineers, researchers, and officials from government bodies and companies working in the electricity and renewable energy sectors.
