Health Holding Company

Health Holding Company is a state-owned national company established by cabinet decree in 2022 under the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programmes. It delivers and operates health services across the Kingdom through twenty health clusters covering every region, following the programme's separation of service provision from the regulatory and supervisory role retained by the Ministry of Health. The company oversees the hospitals, primary healthcare centres, laboratories and blood banks of those clusters, working to standardise and improve models of care and to shift from curative care towards a comprehensive, population-health and prevention-based model. Its laboratory operations sector runs specialised laboratory medicine conferences and leads national initiatives on laboratory service quality and accreditation, among them the Trends and Innovations in Medical Laboratories conference.
