The General Directorate of Civil Defense presented a range of modern technical and digital solutions aimed at enhancing safety and security during LEAP 2026, currently underway in Riyadh. Among the highlights was a "smart helmet" designed to support firefighting operations and assist in decision-making processes.
Colonel Mohammed Al-Hammadi, the official spokesperson for Civil Defense, stated that the directorate's participation in the conference is intended to showcase the latest technological innovations. He noted that the displayed technologies include the national early warning platform and the features of the smart helmet specifically developed for firefighting.
Al-Hammadi also pointed out that the intelligent solutions presented by Civil Defense encompass strategies tailored to various incident scenarios. The remarks came as Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha officially inaugurated LEAP 2026 on Monday in Riyadh, with 1,800 companies taking part this year.
