The fourth edition of the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit 2026 is set to open on Monday, September 14, under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who also chairs the board of the Riyadh Biotechnology Center Foundation, with the inauguration ceremony led by Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, a board member of the same foundation.
Held from September 14 to 16 at the Sofitel Riyadh Hotel, the summit brings together a select group of experts, researchers, innovators, investors, and policymakers from around the world to examine the latest developments in medical biotechnology and chart its future trajectory, as confirmed by the National Guard Health Affairs, which emphasized that the Crown Prince's patronage reflects the leadership's strong support for the sector and underscores the kingdom's growing role in global innovation.
Organized by the National Guard Ministry through its Health Affairs, along with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) and King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), and in partnership with the Ministry of Investment, the summit aims to position Riyadh as a global hub for medical biotechnology innovation by showcasing cutting-edge technologies, exploring promising investment opportunities, and fostering collaboration between scientific talent, research institutions, and international companies.
