The foundation was represented at the signing by its chief executive, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Fahd Al-Anqari, while KIMARC was represented by the executive director general of health affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, Prof. Dr. Bandar bin Abdulmohsen Al-Qanawi.

The agreements cover research support in oncology, immunotherapies, neurological diseases and heatstroke complications, alongside backing for research studies and pre-clinical and clinical work, plus strengthening national capabilities, research partnerships and knowledge transfer in advanced biotechnology fields.

They are also designed to turn research output into scalable health applications and to contribute to health solutions that serve the objectives of the National Biotechnology Strategy, in a move that links the summit's scientific agenda to the Kingdom's wider push to localize advanced medical biotechnology.
