World Energy Congress 2027

About the event
The 27th World Energy Congress takes place in Riyadh from 26 to 29 April 2027 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, under the theme 'Inspiring Transformations, Delivering Transitions'. It is co-hosted by the World Energy Council and the Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia, and gathers decision makers from across the energy value chain, from production and supply through to consumption and use, over four days.
The programme is built on eight pillars: faster, fairer and deeper decarbonisation; refuelling the future; electrifying progress; the next productivity revolution; closing the people gaps; securing a resilient future; the smart energy era; and finance for just and inclusive energy transitions. Organisers expect more than 18,000 participants, among them energy leaders, chief executives and innovators from over 150 countries, alongside more than 100 ministers and over 350 speakers and facilitators. Sessions are split between open discussions and invitation-only roundtables, accompanied by an exhibition of more than 150 exhibitors.
Attendance is by delegate fee. The organiser has set the standard delegate rate at USD 3,000 for early bird registration until 15 January 2027, then USD 3,900 until the event, with a 30% discount for World Energy Council members. The pass covers all four Congress days, the main content programme and exhibition floor access. Online pre-registration is required, badges are collected at the venue on presentation of a passport, national ID or resident ID, and attendees arriving from outside the Kingdom need a valid visa before travel.
