UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum 2026

About the event
Riyadh hosts the second edition of the UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, from 29 November to 1 December 2026, in partnership with the Saudi Ports Authority and under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The forum is held every two years, and its first edition took place in Bridgetown, Barbados in 2024.
It convenes member States, private sector representatives, international and regional organisations, non-governmental organisations, academics and experts from around the world to exchange experience, identify policy options and consider practical measures that strengthen the resilience, sustainability and inclusiveness of transport and logistics systems. Three themes are on the table: coordinated effort to prevent, mitigate, respond to and adapt to supply chain disruption through policy, regulation, investment in sustainable infrastructure and crisis-response mechanisms that keep essential goods moving; the opportunities arising from structural transformation, digitalisation, innovation and sustainability transitions; and support for the economies hit hardest by disruption, chiefly least developed countries, small island developing states and landlocked developing countries.
Attendance is both in person and online, and registration is open through the United Nations Indico platform. The forum runs alongside the Global Logistics Forum organised by the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, at the same venue and on the same dates.
