43rd KKESH&RC 2026 International Conference

The 43rd KKESH&RC International Conference is held in Riyadh from 1 to 3 October 2026 at Crowne Plaza, Riyadh, under the theme "Current Ophthalmology Controversies, Debates and Updates". It is the annual scientific meeting that gathers ophthalmologists and eye surgeons from across the Kingdom and the wider region around settled clinical practice and around the questions still discussed between treatment schools.
The programme covers ophthalmology and eye surgery as the organiser presents them, and addresses consultant ophthalmologists, physicians in training including fellows and residents, consultant physicians outside ophthalmology, optometrists, technicians, health assistants, pharmacists, nurses and medical students, with attendance carrying a certificate within continuing professional development. The scientific sessions and the speaker list have not been announced yet, with the schedule and speakers pages both marked as under final revision.
Registration is open with fees tiered across eight professional categories: SAR 50 for nurses; SAR 100 for medical students and interns, for technicians, health assistants and pharmacists, and for other categories; SAR 200 for optometrists; SAR 300 for physicians in training and for consultant physicians outside ophthalmology; and SAR 500 for consultant ophthalmologists. The registration fee covers access to all sessions, refreshment breaks, lunch and the certificate of attendance. An optional hands-on strabismus surgery course runs on 3 October for an additional SAR 150, while the conference portal notes that invitation codes can change the fee due and that hospital staff are exempted once their work email is verified.
