IAP Annual Conference 2026

The IAP Annual Conference 2026 has been postponed to 2027. It was scheduled for 15 to 18 November 2026 in Riyadh at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, and the organiser will announce the new dates later. The conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors were to be hosted by the Public Prosecution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the conference theme is The Criminal Justice System in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Challenges, and Global Applications.

The professional programme was to include three plenary sessions on the opportunities, challenges and global applications of artificial intelligence in criminal justice systems, and parallel workshops on institutional readiness, ethical challenges, AI-enabled crime and the misuse of AI. Special interest sessions were to cover witness protection, protecting victims in the digital age, wildlife and environmental crime and future-ready prosecutors, alongside specialist network sessions on economic crime and asset recovery, counter terrorism, cybercrime and associations. The IAP General Meeting was scheduled for 17 November, and a social programme was to accompany the conference, with an opening ceremony, a gala dinner, a professional networking night and a farewell reception.

Registration was open to IAP honorary members, designated representatives of organisational members, individual members, speakers, observers and guests invited by the IAP Executive Committee, and attendance was limited to 500 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The participant fee was EUR 775 and the day participant fee was EUR 350 per day, and online registration was due to close on 8 November 2026. Fees did not include accommodation, flights or visa costs. Partners of registered participants could join a social and cultural programme for EUR 85. Registration details will be announced again once the new dates are confirmed.
