agentX Agentic AI Hackathon

agentX Riyadh is the fourth edition of the AI Hackathon for Employment and Business Solutions. It has two rounds: a five-day virtual bootcamp, followed by a four-day in-person round in the Riyadh Region that includes the closing ceremony.

The hackathon has four AI tracks: culture and heritage; entertainment, events and gaming; smart cities and quality of life; and finance and business. Each track sets challenges from the public and private sectors. It is aimed at recent graduates and job seekers among software developers, data scientists and analysts, UX and product designers, and AI engineers. The official site expects more than 1,000 participants and 100 job opportunities through hiring partners, with more than 45 mentors supporting the teams.

Participation is free and open to Saudi recent graduates and job seekers who are not registered with GOSI and have knowledge of AI and its applications. Teams have three to five members, and each team registers one idea. Prizes total SAR 60,000: SAR 30,000 for first place, SAR 20,000 for second and SAR 10,000 for third. Participants receive certificates accredited by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and each team keeps full rights to its idea.
