The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority is using its pavilion at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 to introduce visitors to sustainable hunting practices, wildlife conservation, vegetation development and ecotourism programs, in a presentation built around the balance between the use of natural resources and their long-term sustainability, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The pavilion showcases two of the Kingdom's regulated hunting areas, the Shamal Sustainable Hunting Reserve and the Rabdah Sustainable Hunting Reserve, where the displays explain how hunting activity can be organized and tied directly to the protection of natural resources and wildlife, giving visitors a practical understanding of how sustainable hunting is implemented on the ground.
The Shamal reserve is presented as the Kingdom's first reserve dedicated to sustainable hunting, with a model that reconciles hunting with wildlife conservation inside a regulated framework designed to preserve the continuity of natural resources. The authority's participation places environmental stewardship alongside the exhibition's wider programming, which runs from October 01 to 10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, and is organized by the National Center for Falcons.
