Uzma Siddiqui

Founder

Uzma Siddiqui is co-founder and chief executive of Quantasphere Ltd, a UK-registered quantum communications company working at the intersection of quantum technology and healthcare, where UK Companies House records confirm her appointment as a director in February 2025. Quantasphere is developing an end-to-end solution to secure patient medical records with quantum-resistant cryptography while applying quantum algorithms to accelerate genomic analysis for precision medicine, and its QShield product combines post-quantum cryptography with quantum key distribution using distributed entanglement to protect critical infrastructure. The company was selected by the World Economic Forum among the top ten global innovators in its Quantum for Sustainability challenge. Before founding Quantasphere she was a deep-tech investor focused on artificial intelligence, deep tech and sustainability, leading early-stage investments that included stakes in quantum technology companies, and prior to that an investment banker with cross-border venture experience spanning the Middle East, Europe and India. She holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School and a BSc in economics from University College London. She won first prize in a Ministry of Communications and Information Technology competition at LEAP on the impact of quantum computing on the Saudi economy, and presented Quantasphere in the startup showcase at the ITU Quantum World Tour in Saudi Arabia.
