Srijith Nair is Group Chief Information Security Officer at Beyond ONE, based in Dubai. He was previously Chief Information Security Officer of Careem, responsible for securing an application operating in more than a hundred cities across twelve countries in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Before that he was Chief Strategy Officer at Axiomatics, the Swedish specialist in dynamic authorisation, where he worked with the board and chief executive on growth strategy, investment priorities and the innovation agenda. He is a member of the cybersecurity council of the analyst firm KuppingerCole. Securing a cross-border consumer platform differs from securing a conventional company: data moves between different regulatory jurisdictions, and the service itself cannot tolerate downtime for security maintenance.
