Mohamed Shehata handles sales and business development for the Middle East and Africa at Herrenknecht AG, the German manufacturer of tunnel boring and microtunnelling machines. Herrenknecht has supplied more than two hundred microtunnelling machines to the Gulf region since the 1990s and opened a full-service branch in Abu Dhabi to support the region's tunnelling market. He has presented on the latest achievements in microtunnelling and on the progress the field has made through experience and innovation at the Trenchless Arabia conference.
