Director of Sustainability

Majed Wafaallah is a chemical engineer with an MBA and a sustainability leader with diverse experience across the energy, utilities, petrochemical and academic sectors. He is Director of Sustainability at ACWA Power and Chairman of the Board of the United Nations Global Compact in Saudi Arabia. At ACWA Power he leads the company's sustainability strategy and the integration of environmental, social and governance practice into the business. Under his leadership the company has advanced its sustainability goals, improved its ESG rating, elevated sustainability initiatives and strengthened alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
