Faisal Raza is a chemical process engineer and technology consultant with over 15 years of experience across oil and gas surface facilities, refining and petrochemical systems, and industrial and municipal water infrastructure. His expertise lies in process systems engineering, separation technologies and water management across the energy value chain, with extensive experience in the design, evaluation, troubleshooting and optimisation of complex industrial systems, particularly gas-oil separation plants, crude desalting, phase separation and produced water treatment trains. He has worked with operators, EPC contractors and industrial clients across the Middle East and Europe on upstream production facilities, refineries, petrochemical complexes and large-scale water and wastewater treatment plants, covering greenfield design, brownfield optimisation, facility audits, debottlenecking studies and process performance improvement. He has also been active in technology commercialisation, product development and solution strategy, and remains engaged with academia as a researcher and adjunct lecturer in chemical engineering.
