Awais Manzoor is an experienced failure metallurgist with a record of leading roles in materials advisory and root cause failure investigation for both metallic and non-metallic materials. He is an AMPP-certified Senior Corrosion Technologist and Cathodic Protection Technologist with more than 14 years of experience in corrosion control across oil and gas plants, covering cathodic protection, coatings, water treatment and chemical inhibition. He specialises in systematic forensic investigation and has authored several research papers on failure investigations of components used across the power, utilities and upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors in the Middle East.
