Ashok Kumar Ramchand has over 17 years of experience in corrosion, inspection, non-destructive testing, asset integrity, risk-based inspection and engineering excellence, including 13 years in the technical division of Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (Kemya), the SABIC and ExxonMobil joint venture. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with first-class honours from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in Jamshoro, Pakistan, and a one-year executive MBA diploma from the Pakistan Institute of Modern Sciences. He holds four API certifications covering piping (570), refractory (936), pressure vessels (510) and welding inspection and metallurgy (577), Level II certification in five ASNT methods, the AWS Certified Welding Inspector credential, ASME PCC-2 certification and LEEA certification in lifting equipment.
