Ahmed Montaser is an engineering and asset management leader with expertise in asset integrity, reliability and strategic business transformation within capital-intensive industries. Combining deep technical expertise with an MBA, he bridges engineering reliability and financial performance, helping organisations maximise asset value, optimise lifecycle costs and improve operational profitability. He has championed data-driven reliability strategies that improve operational excellence, reduce downtime, optimise capital and operating expenditure, and align maintenance practice with broader business objectives. He works on transforming maintenance organisations from cost centres into value-creating business functions, leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders from the shop floor to the boardroom. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering and an MBA, and is certified in API 510, API 570 and API 571, as an AWS Certified Welding Inspector, at NDT Level II in radiographic, ultrasonic, visual, penetrant and magnetic particle testing, and as an IRCA Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
