Riyadh Chamber

Riyadh Chamber is the chamber of commerce and industry for the Riyadh region. It was established by Council of Ministers resolution no. 239 of 10 Jumada al-Akhirah 1381 AH, after the merchants of Riyadh asked for a body that would carry their case to government in the way the chambers of Makkah, Jeddah and the Eastern Province already did, and its first board was elected on 16 November 1961 under Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Sulaiman Al-Muqairin, regarded as its founder, from a first premises on Al-Thumairi Street in central Riyadh.

Today the chamber represents the private sector across the Riyadh region and puts its position to legislators and regulators. It delivers member services such as attestations and permits through the A'amali online portal, alongside legal, advisory and information services and support for entrepreneurs, and it houses sector committees, a research and information centre, a challenges centre and a training centre. Its nineteenth board is chaired by Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Obeikan.

The chamber runs a broad annual programme of forums, gatherings and workshops, receives incoming foreign trade delegations and arranges outbound Saudi missions, publishes Riyadh Trade magazine and operates its own channel and podcast. It won the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award and the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in 2020. Its headquarters is on Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaed bin Jalawi Street in the Al-Murabba district of Riyadh, its unified number is 920004565, and it publishes on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat.
