ISA Saudi Arabia Section

The International Society of Automation (ISA) is a global nonprofit professional association founded in 1945 and headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. It develops technical standards for automation and control, including the ISA/IEC 62443 industrial cybersecurity series and the ISA-95 enterprise-control integration standard, and offers professional certifications such as the Certified Automation Professional (CAP) and the Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST). ISA counts close to seventeen thousand members across more than 100 countries, organized into over 100 chartered sections worldwide.

The ISA Saudi Arabia Section has served the automation community in the Kingdom and the wider Gulf since 1975 and is based in the Eastern Province, around Dhahran and Dammam. It is the largest ISA section in the Middle East region (ISA District 12), with roughly 1,000 members drawn from Saudi Aramco and other industrial and technology employers. The section runs technical meetings, training, and student sections at Saudi universities, and organizes the ISA Saudi Automation Conference, now in its third edition.
