Google Cloud

Google Cloud is the cloud computing arm of Google and Alphabet, offering compute, storage, data analytics, database and artificial intelligence services, including the Gemini Enterprise platform, across more than 40 regions and 200 countries and territories worldwide. The service traces back to Google App Engine, which opened in preview in April 2008 and became generally available in November 2011 as Google's first cloud offering, later expanding through Cloud Storage, Compute Engine and a growing suite of enterprise products under the Google Cloud brand. In November 2023, Google Cloud opened its own cloud region in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, inaugurated jointly with the Kingdom's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, bringing low-latency public sector, enterprise and small business services to the local market, with an estimated contribution of 109 billion dollars to the Saudi economy by 2030.
