Dubai World Trade Centre

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is a United Arab Emirates institution that combines ownership of exhibition facilities with the organisation of international trade events. It traces its origin to 1979, when the Sheikh Rashid Tower opened as the region’s first purpose-built exhibition venue, and it has since become the principal home of the UAE’s largest trade gatherings, hosting hundreds of exhibitions and conferences each year across its complex in central Dubai while also operating a free zone and a business centre serving exhibitors and visiting companies. DWTC stands behind several of the world’s largest trade events, foremost among them Gulfood, one of the biggest food and beverage sourcing platforms globally, and GITEX Global, which brings technology companies and digital decision-makers together from across the world, alongside the Dubai International Boat Show and a range of specialised events in hospitality, healthcare and retail. In Saudi Arabia the group operates through International MICE Services Company, incorporated in Riyadh, which runs Saudifood Manufacturing and The Saudifood Show together with their registration platforms, in step with the Kingdom’s direction on industrial localisation and food security under Saudi Vision 2030.
