The Real Estate Authority has underscored the significance of the Real Estate Excellence Award in elevating Saudi projects to a global stage. During a virtual session organized by 'Athniniyat Ahl Al-Aqar' on Tuesday, Taisir Al-Mufarrij, the official spokesperson for the authority, stated that the award, launched in partnership with the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) in Saudi Arabia, aims to raise standards and honor pioneering projects while motivating developers to deliver innovative real estate solutions.
Al-Mufarrij emphasized that the award fosters a culture of appreciation and recognition, enhancing innovation and highlighting those who provide genuine value to the sector. Winners will be nominated to compete internationally, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of improving quality and attracting qualitative investments.
Reem Al-Harbi, Vice President of FIABCI Saudi Arabia, revealed that the award's journey began during the Future of Real Estate Forum in 2023, with registration open until August 31. The jury will evaluate submissions, with finalists announced on November 17 and winners revealed on January 27 during the forum. Winning entities will qualify for the global award on June 11 in Vienna.
Dr. Tariq Al-Otaibi, a consultant and head of the technical committee at the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, noted that the award aims to regulate the non-governmental real estate sector, enhance its capabilities, and encourage investment. Majed Al-Arabi Al-Harthi, head of the cooperative association for real estate brokers and marketers, added that awards strengthen competition among companies and improve product quality, benefiting the entire sector.
