The Ministry of Interior has announced the Global Security & Technology Summit (GSTS), to be held in Riyadh from 18–20 December 2026 under the patronage of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy.

The summit is a global event convening security and technology leaders, decision-makers and experts from around the world — an international platform to anticipate the future of security and technology and strengthen international cooperation. Its agenda spans cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data analysis, IoT, emerging technologies, digital forensics, smart surveillance and crisis management.

The Security & Technology Innovation Award (SAIIF)

The agenda includes the Security & Technology Innovation Award (SAIIF), held in Riyadh from 19–21 November 2026 with elite innovators, researchers and tech talents from around the world competing for prizes totaling SAR 5 million. The competition focuses on AI, emerging technologies, digital forensics, cybersecurity and infrastructure protection, and digital transformation in the security sector.

Flagship side events

The summit features a series of flagship side events, led by the enrichment-focused “Security & Technology Month,” with specialized programs and technical workshops delivered in partnership with leading global entities. The summit builds on the success of Absher 2025, which set three Guinness World Records for the largest hackathon in the world.
