The Saudi Camel Racing Federation is embracing digital transformation during the eighth edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival 2026, turning its five official social media accounts into fully interactive platforms that place followers and owners at the heart of the action in real time.
These platforms—X, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat—now deliver a comprehensive package of exclusive digital services, including high-quality live broadcasts of both morning and evening races, rapid video clips of decisive bends and finish-line moments, and instant graphics documenting winning camels and their timings immediately after each heat concludes.
The festival, held annually at the historic Taif camel racetrack under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, continues until September 13 with prize money exceeding 50 million Saudi riyals, making it the largest event of its kind globally. The digital upgrade aims to provide accurate and swift access to information for enthusiasts and owners alike.
Beyond competition, the festival drives economic, cultural, and social impact—boosting tourism and local business in Taif, supporting domestic camel owners and producers, and reinforcing Saudi Arabia's position as a leading destination for heritage sports while attracting participants and viewers from across the Gulf and beyond.
