The Al-Luqaya category at the Crown Prince Camel Festival 2026 will hold its final races on Tuesday evening, wrapping up three days of competition that featured 48 heats over a 4-kilometer track, with total prize money reaching SAR 9.41 million, according to the Saudi Camel Racing Federation.

Tuesday's evening session will stage six cup races under the festival's umbrella—open, general, and Saudi production categories—with combined prizes of SAR 5.75 million, led by the general bakkar cup worth SAR 1.275 million, where the winner takes SAR 700,000, followed by the open bakkar and general qadan cups at SAR 1.025 million and SAR 925,000 respectively.

The Saudi production bakkar cup offers SAR 975,000, while the open qadan and Saudi production qadan cups each carry SAR 775,000, and the morning session will open with 12 heats across open and general categories totaling SAR 960,000, building on Sunday's 14 evening heats worth SAR 1.26 million and Monday's 16 morning heats valued at SAR 1.44 million.

The festival, running until September 13 under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aims to strengthen camel racing as a cultural and sporting heritage, drawing owners from across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and beyond.
