The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 is adding a live equestrian component called «Al-Khayyal» that lets visitors watch horses and interact with them up close, part of a wider set of experiences the event is rolling out under the slogan «An Experience for Everyone».
The exhibition runs from 1 to 10 October at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, organized by the National Center for Falcons, according to the organizer's announcement carried by Sabq. The equestrian experience is designed to introduce families, children and young people to horsemanship and to the place horses hold in Saudi heritage, turning that knowledge from something narrated into something visitors can see and engage with directly.
«Al-Khayyal» sits alongside other heritage and entertainment offerings at the exhibition, including falconry, the traditional hunting experience known as Al-Miqnass, and folkloric performances, giving visitors multiple paths to explore elements of Saudi heritage. Horses and falcons have long been tied to the culture of Saudi society across generations, forming part of the practices and skills passed down over time.
Through these experiences, the National Center for Falcons aims to strengthen the connection of younger generations to their culture and to open the door for families and youth to discover it through live engagement, a step the organizer frames as a way to preserve this heritage and carry its knowledge and skills forward.
