Smart Cities Saudi Expo runs from 8 to 10 June 2027 at Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, co-located with Global Infrastructure Expo in the same building. Its subject is urban innovation, city technologies and sustainable development, gathering government bodies, city planners, technology providers, developers, utilities, transport authorities and digital transformation specialists.
The show floor covers smart mobility, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, the internet of things, smart buildings, cybersecurity, utilities, energy management, urban planning and government technology. What these share is that they form a layer fitted onto an existing city or built alongside it: systems that measure and are managed centrally, and data moving between authorities that did not previously exchange it, which makes interoperability and data governance the hardest part of this field rather than the technology itself.
The exhibition runs over three days and opens daily from four in the afternoon until ten at night. A knowledge programme runs alongside it at the Smart Cities Saudi Summit. Visitor registration is not yet open and the organiser states it will open later; for now it is receiving stand booking requests and expressions of interest.
