PCIC Energy Middle East Conference 2026

About the event
The PCIC energy Middle East Conference takes place on 10 and 11 November 2026 at Le Méridien Al Khobar, in collaboration with the IEEE-IAS Saudi Arabia Section. It is the region's annual electrical and automation knowledge sharing event for the petroleum, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The programme is built around technical papers and tutorials drawn from field experience in the practical application of electrical and automation technology. The 2026 themes are decarbonisation (electrification, energy storage, hydrogen and integration of renewables), energy efficiency and life cycle management, and digital projects and assets. The draft programme includes two tutorials and eight papers over two days, on topics such as transformer diagnostics, high speed motors and arc-resistant medium-voltage drives. The conference is aimed at end-users, EPC firms, contractors, manufacturers, and certification and standards bodies.
Registration is required for everyone who attends, including authors and students. General registration from 1 September to 6 November 2026 is USD 800; employees of end-users and Saudi EPC firms pay USD 250, and students and professors pay USD 75. Registration is online through the organiser's website.
