IFAT Saudi Arabia 2027 runs for three days at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center in Riyadh, from 4 to 6 September 2027, under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, with the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) as founding and strategic partner. It is the Saudi edition of the international IFAT series of environmental technology fairs that began in Munich, and the Kingdom's only event dedicated to waste, water and environmental technologies.
The exhibition gathers local and international exhibitors representing more than 550 brands across every segment of the environmental industry: hydraulic engineering and well construction, water and sewage treatment, water supply and sewerage systems, mechanical and plant engineering in water management, digitalization of water and waste, solid waste management and recycling, generating energy from waste materials, soil treatment, air pollution control and noise reduction, and measuring, control and laboratory technology. Its audience is professional buyers, project owners and decision makers from government bodies, water utilities, municipalities and environmental solution providers, in a market where the Kingdom has identified SAR 750 billion in private investment opportunities across waste management and allocated US$80 billion to water projects.
Admission is free and limited to trade and industry professionals, and visitors under 18 are not permitted. The exhibition is accompanied by a conference program on two stages, both open to all visitors: the Orange Stage runs for three days on the circular economy, waste and recycling solutions, and the Blue Stage runs for two days on innovation in water management, from desalination technologies to AI-driven operational efficiency, with the sessions of both stages certified for continuing professional development. Alongside them are the IFAT Saudi Arabia Summit, which brings together public and private sector leaders, a dedicated startup area, and live demonstrations of equipment and systems on the show floor.
