Sadiq Al Mutawa is Country Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at DNV Maritime, the Norwegian classification society and risk management group. He leads DNV's local maritime advisory, classification and certification services for shipowners, shipyards and port operators active in the Kingdom, and has represented the company at successive editions of the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress, where he has spoken about building collaborative industry networks to support a more resilient and sustainable Saudi maritime sector. His work covers vessel classification, safety and environmental compliance, and advising Saudi maritime companies on decarbonisation and alternative fuel pathways as the Kingdom expands its national shipping and ports capacity.
