Dr. Ali Abusnina is Manager of Future AI Technologies at Saudi Aramco, and studied at the University of York in the UK. He previously served as the company's Chief Data Scientist, and led research applying transformer-based generative AI models to industrial-asset behavior, serving predictive maintenance, fault detection and asset-performance management in the energy sector. He has published his research at specialized scientific conferences, and his interests focus on applications of AI foundation models in heavy industrial sectors.
