Saudi Water Authority

The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) is the government regulator of the Kingdom's water sector, overseeing the national water system across the full supply chain — desalination, transmission, distribution and reuse — under the National Water Strategy 2030. Saudi Arabia, the world's largest producer of desalinated water, is advancing one of the most ambitious water transformations globally under SWA's leadership, and the Authority hosts the sector's flagship international events including the IDRA World Congress 2026 in Riyadh and IDWS in Jeddah.
