Soudah Development, the company behind Saudi Arabia's premium mountain destination Soudah Peaks, has confirmed its participation in the inaugural WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2026, which runs from September 8 to 10 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, where it will introduce its luxury project in the Aseer region to international travel professionals through a dedicated exhibition booth.
The event, organized by RX (Reed Exhibitions), is set to gather destinations, tourism authorities, hosted buyers, tour operators, hospitality brands, airlines, and travel professionals, aiming to forge partnerships and unlock new tourism opportunities across the region, and Soudah Development's presence underscores the growing appeal of Saudi Arabia's emerging mountain tourism sector.
Soudah Peaks, developed with an investment exceeding USD 3.9 billion—including roughly USD 1 billion allocated for infrastructure—spans six development zones and will feature more than 2,810 hotel rooms, 1,337 residential units, and over 30 commercial and entertainment attractions, all designed to reflect the region's landscape and cultural identity, as the company highlights the project's potential for collaboration and strategic partnerships in tourism and hospitality.
At its booth, Soudah Development will present the vision and key attributes of Soudah Peaks, offering visitors insight into Aseer's natural landscapes, heritage, and cultural identity through curated visual content and discussions, with Eng. Saleh Aloraini, CEO of Soudah Development, noting that the company is building on Aseer's exceptional assets to create a destination rooted in regional identity, and that the event provides a platform to share that vision with the global travel trade.
