The Ministry of Interior concluded the Security and History Dialogue 2026 in Riyadh, which ran for three days at the Culture Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter under the theme “Our History and Our Future… Security and Prosperity,” with the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and an audience exceeding 5,200 visitors.
The conference program featured more than 60 dialogue sessions, interactive meetings, and special addresses, involving over 160 speakers and participants from inside and outside Saudi Arabia, as well as more than 30 governmental, academic, and scientific entities, with activities distributed across the “Dialogue Platform” and the “Security and History Theater” over more than 60 hours.
Discussions covered the history of security in the Saudi state and its relation to institution-building, justice, and stability, alongside topics such as citizenship, national identity, security and investment, awareness and moderation, international relations, security partnerships, and the role of citizens, families, women, media, culture, and arts, in addition to civilizational heritage, artificial intelligence, and future security.
The conference also highlighted milestones from Saudi history and the character of King Abdulaziz, the development of state institutions and security agencies, the care of the Two Holy Mosques and holy sites, and the Saudi experience in development and economic, social, and cultural transformation, with discussions affirming the impact of security and stability on supporting development and transformation in the Kingdom.
Organized in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah) as the main partner, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City as the strategic partner, and with Tuwaiq Academy and the Saudi Company for Technical and Comprehensive Security Control (Tahakum) as pioneering partners, the conference served as an extension of the 2025 Security and History Forum, expanding into a three-day program that blends intellectual and historical dialogue with specialized experiences, aiming to enhance awareness of Saudi history and highlight the value of security in the nation’s building and development journey.
