Visitors to the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 can now view the original Saudi Cup trophy and pose for photographs with it, as the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia hosts an introductory pavilion dedicated to the world of horse racing and its major championships.

Faisal Al-Otaibi, the club's official spokesman, said the participation stems from the deep connection between horses, falcons and hunting within Saudi heritage, and aims to reach a wider audience and introduce them to racing culture, while highlighting the club's role in organising and developing the sport locally and raising its international profile. He added that the pavilion offers interactive content that brings visitors closer to the racing experience and the sport's ongoing development in the Kingdom.

The pavilion also showcases a number of the club's most prominent trophies and championships, and introduces visitors to the experience at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh, along with the activities and events that accompany race days. It further serves to introduce the Riyadh racing season 2026-2027, which runs from 16 October 2026 to 17 April 2027 and comprises 50 race nights and 569 races across the season, with a programme value approaching 235 million riyals.

The Saudi Cup itself is set for 5 and 6 February 2027 at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh, with total prize money approaching 40 million dollars and a main race purse of 20 million dollars, drawing elite horses and jockeys from the United States, Europe, Japan and beyond. «The participation comes from the close bond between horses, falcons and hunting in Saudi heritage,» Al-Otaibi said, noting the club's keenness to engage with all segments of society.
