SAL Zones and Advanced Aircraft Technology Sign MoU on the Sidelines of Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo 2026

SAL Zones, a subsidiary of SAL Logistics Services focused on building integrated logistics zones across the Kingdom, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Advanced Aircraft Technology during the Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo 2026 in Riyadh, according to a press release issued by the company. The agreement sets a framework for the two sides to examine joint opportunities in building specialized logistics infrastructure and solutions that serve aviation and aerospace projects inside Saudi Arabia.

Under the MoU, the partners will look into combining SAL Zones' assets, capabilities, and existing infrastructure with Advanced Aircraft Technology's operational expertise and its sector-specific requirements, with the aim of designing logistics solutions that respond to the needs of aviation and aerospace players and support their expansion across the Kingdom. The scope covers potential development of dedicated facilities for storing aircraft spare parts, engines, equipment, and related materials, alongside purpose-built facilities and logistics services shaped around the operational demands of Advanced Aircraft Technology's projects.

The two parties will also assess a set of integrated services spanning warehousing, transportation, distribution, cargo handling, customs-related procedures, and re-export activities. The MoU further opens the door to examining investment and leasing opportunities inside the SAL Logistics Zone, including the possibility of establishing an integrated logistics hub at the SAL Logistics Zone in Mulham to back the company's aviation and aerospace ventures.

The agreement builds on SAL Zones' ongoing work to develop a network of logistics zones and infrastructure capable of serving specialized, high-value industries and their supply chains. «This collaboration reflects our commitment to enabling specialized sectors with logistics infrastructure that meets their operational needs,» a statement from the company said. Through the partnership, both sides aim to raise the competitiveness of the Kingdom's logistics sector and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
