The General Directorate of Weapons and Explosives of the Ministry of Interior is participating in the ministry's pavilion at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, which runs from 1 to 10 October 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, according to the organizer.
Visitors to the pavilion will be briefed on the conditions governing licenses to carry and possess individual firearms and hunting weapons, alongside the penalties stipulated for violators of the Weapons and Ammunition Law and its executive regulations, in a move aimed at raising awareness of the legal framework that governs both the hunting and weapons sectors.
The directorate is also walking visitors through the procedural steps required to obtain weapons licenses, explaining the provisions of the law and how to handle firearms in accordance with approved rules and controls, with the aim of equipping attendees with the information they need on licensing pathways.
The participation comes as part of the Interior Ministry's wider presence at the exhibition, which has drawn a series of security and regulatory bodies to its pavilion, including the National Center for Security Operations, the General Security Directorate, the Special Forces for Security and Protection, the Civil Defense, the Passports Department, and the Anti-Narcotics Directorate.
