Agricultural Development Fund Joins Middle East Poultry Expo 2026 with Over SAR 10 Billion in Sector Financing

The Agricultural Development Fund has joined the fifth edition of the Middle East Poultry Expo 2026, which opened in Riyadh under the slogan "Innovation Today, Production Tomorrow," bringing together companies and investors to review the latest technologies in the sector and to discuss financing solutions, partnerships and agreements that advance the poultry industry and reinforce food security in the Kingdom.

Over the three-day event, the fund is presenting its financing services, credit facilities and specialized advisory support aimed at investors from companies and cooperative associations, where its team assesses financing needs and identifies the appropriate funding type to help projects grow, reduce risk and improve operational efficiency, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The fund is also introducing visitors to the advantages of financing agricultural projects that adopt modern technologies, with the aim of raising productivity, rationalizing water and energy consumption and improving the efficiency of natural resource use to support project sustainability. Specialists and agricultural technicians are stationed at the fund's pavilion to receive farmers, investors, entrepreneurs and others interested in the poultry sector, answering questions on financing products, eligibility requirements and the types of activities and projects the fund supports, including poultry projects and related supply chain and services ventures.

The participation reflects the sector's standing as one of the most prominent specialized agricultural fields and a strategic priority for the fund, in line with its objectives of contributing to food security, preserving natural resources, supporting efficient resource use and encouraging modern technologies, given that its financing helps raise domestic production and self-sufficiency rates.

Total lending extended by the fund to poultry sector projects since its establishment through the end of 2025 exceeded SAR 10 billion, distributed across 1,614 loans covering broiler chicken projects, broiler breeders, laying hens, hatcheries, layer breeders, grandparents and automated slaughterhouses.
